Polaris RS1 Ring and Pinion Rework & REM Finish
Racing and extreme riding can find any weak point in a OEM vehicle. With the introduction of the new Polaris RS1 front differential we found a number of racers and rock bouncers cracking their ring gears, causing catastrophic damage.
After analyzing the front differential we have determined a process to rework the OEM ring gear to reduce stress risers. After that we REM finish the ring and pinion to further remove micro burrs. REM finishing is a proprietary process utilized by professional race teams all over the world. REM finishing will:
